CAPITALIZED MEMBERSHIPS
Membership Capital Shares
This capital investment is based on 1% of prior year-end assets and has a three-year notice maturity date. The market rate of this share account targets the Federal Funds Target rate. Capitalized members may invest solely in this account, solely in the Member Paid-in Capital Shares account or split their 1% investment between the two accounts.
Member Paid-in Capital Shares
Capitalized members of Kansas Corporate may invest in this additional capital account as well as the Membership Capital Shares. This share account has a 20-year maturity and targets a market rate of the 1-month LIBOR plus 50 basis points. Investment in this share account allows members to increase the yield on their capital investment without increasing the total amount of said investment.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPS - NEW!
Associate Membership grants credit unions outside Kansas, access to Kansas Corporate products and services without the capital investment requirement. As such, Associate Members are ineligible to hold an official Kansas Corporate office. (Credit unions domiciled in the state of Kansas or those who have held membership capital of any kind in Kansas Corporate in the previous 10-year period are ineligible for this membership type.)
